IMTA Alum Katie Leclerc shooting The Confession!

Katie Leclerc is shooting the Hallmark television movie Beverly Lewis' The Confession! She is on-location in Winston-Salem. According to JournalNow, "It is based on the second book in a trilogy known collectively as the "Heritage of Lancaster County" series, written by best-selling author Beverly Lewis...For "The Confession," Sherry Stringfield ("ER") reprises her role from the original film as a woman who gave up her daughter for adoption. The daughter, who was raised in an Amish community, is being played by Katie Leclerc ("Switched at Birth"), who took over a role played by Danielle Panabaker in the first film.

Katie competed at IMTA at the age of 15. She attended an IMTA Convention in New York where she met her first manager who helped launch her acting career. Katie first landed a role on Veronica Mars before guest starring on The Riches, The Ex List, The Big Bang Theory and The Hard Time of RJ Berger. Katie also starred in the movies Flying By and The Inner Circle. Alongside her role as Daphne on ABC Family's Switched at Birth, Katie will also be in the films Seven Lanterns and The Ones!
