IMTA's Katie Leclerc Named One of TV Guide's Breakout Stars of 2011!
IMTA alum Katie Leclerc was named one of TV Guide's Breakout Stars of 2011. According to TV Guide: "in her first major role, Leclerc has beautifully played her character Daphne the quick-witted deaf teen who, you know, was switched at birth." She will be part of the ABC's exciting Christmas show at Disneyland! She recently presented an award at the American Music Awards.
Katie was 15 when she attended an IMTA Convention in New York where she met her manager who helped launch her acting career. Katie first landed a role on Veronica Mars before guest starring on The Riches, The Ex List, The Big Bang Theory and The Hard Time of RJ Berger. Katie also starred in the movies Flying By and The Inner Circle. She has appeared in national commercials for Pepsi, Cingular, Comcast and GE. Katie is currently in post-production of the films Seven Lanterns and The Ones. Katie is set to present an award at the IMTA event taking place this January in Los Angeles!
