IMTA's Josh Duhamel in Transformers: Dark of the Moon Opening Nationwide!

IMTA alum (New York 1997's Male Model of the Year-more on that below!) Josh Duhamel's movie Transformers: Dark of the Moon is opening nationwide. This sequel to the Transformers series promises to be a block buster! Josh reprises his role as the capable and handsome Captain Lennox fighting to save Earth from robotic aliens who can transform their bodies into various different configurations, such as cars, truck and airplanes.


Josh, who competed at IMTA in New York in 1997, won Male Model of the Year. Famously, he and Ashton Kutcher closely competed that year at IMTA and each ended up with top prizes (Ashton won Most Sought After Male Model). Josh, who won an Emmy for his role on All My Children, will return to wrap up his storyline in this legendary soap opera.

Nicholas Purcell in The Troop Season 2!

IMTA alum Nicholas Purcell stars as Jake Collins in the popular TV show The Troop. The show follows teenagers who track down and eliminate monsters. The second season of this show premiered recently and it airs on Saturdays on Nickelodeon. The new season will air till September!

Nicholas competed at IMTA in New York City in 2005. He won awards in the following competitions: 1st runner-up in TV Beauty, and Honorable Mentions in TV Real People, Soaps and Cold Read. Nicholas' past projects include: the movie The Surrogates starring with Bruce Willis, Law & Order Criminal Intent, As the World Turns, New York, I Love You, Losing Jerry, Dangerous Crosswinds, Gone Baby Gone, Fever Pitch, The Mirakle and The Burn Book.

Katie Leclerc Switched At Birth

IMTA alum Katie Leclerc is starring as Daphne Vasquez in the new drama called Switched at Birth. The story is about two girls who were accidentally switched at birth. When the mistake is discovered the families struggle with how to work together. The next episode called Dance Among Daggers airs tomorrow June 27 on ABC Family.

Katie competed at IMTA when she was fifteen where her talent, gorgeous face and appealing personality impressed many of the casting directors, agents and managers who were at IMTA scouting for new talent. She starred in the movies The Inner Circle with fellow IMTA alum Lauren Storm, The Devil's Tomb and Flying By.

Katie's mother Vicki Leclerc shared the following with us:
"It's all because of IMTA. Katie has been able to launch her career because of IMTA."

IMTA's Elijah Wood Stars in television series Wilfred!

IMTA alum Elijah Wood has a new show airing tonight called Wilfred. In this new comedy series airing on FX Elijah plays Ryan. According to FX's official site, "Wilfred is a half-hour, live-action comedy about 'Ryan,' a young man struggling unsuccessfully to make his way in the world until he forms a unique friendship with 'Wilfred,' his neighbor’s canine pet. Everyone else sees Wilfred as just a dog, but Ryan sees a crude and somewhat surly, yet irrepressibly brave and honest, Australian bloke in a cheap dog suit. While leading him through a series of comedic and existential adventures, Wilfred the dog shows Ryan the man how to overcome his fears and joyfully embrace the unpredictability and insanity of the world around him."

Elijah attended IMTA in 1989 where he impressed casting directors, managers and agents looking for new talent. He is best known for his role in the Lord of the Rings film series. Elijah is currently working on The Hobbit: Part 1 and 2 and as a voice in TRON: Uprising . His movie Happy Feet Two in 3D is set for release in November of this year.

IMTA's Jill Wagner Wipeout Summer Sneak Peek 6/21!

IMTA alum Jill Wagner is back for a Summer Sneak Peek of Wipeout airing tonight! She is also currently starring in Teen Wolf airing on MTV as Kate Argent.


Jill competed at IMTA in Los Angeles in 2001 where she won Female Model of the Year! This is her hit show Wipeout's fourth season. Many people know Jill best as the Lincoln Mercury Spokesperson as she has done many ad campaigns for the auto giant!

Travis Winfrey in Single Ladies

IMTA alum Travis Winfrey is starring in a new comedy airing on VH1 called Single Ladies. He stars as Omar in this romantic comedy created by Queen Latifah. You can follow Travis on twitter. Another IMTA alum, Brad James guest-stars in two episodes as Dante.

After competing at IMTA, Travis has appeared in several exciting projects. He had a supporting role in Beverly Hills Chihuahua and worked with Adrienne Grenier on Last Hours. He guest-starred on The Secret Life of the American Teenager, Play the Game, Dexter with IMTA alum Miles Heizner, Hannah Montana with IMTA alum Moises Arias, The Loop, MadTv and Passions.

Jessica Cambensy in a Pepsi Commercial!

IMTA alumni Jessica Cambensy recently booked a Pepsi commercial which will be shown all over Japan. She will be leaving for Hong Kong next month to shoot this commercial.
Jessica competed at IMTA in 2006. She has spent alot of time in Hong Kong modeling for Clinique, L'Oreal and Max Factor. These ads can be seen in the popular magazines Marie Claire and Cosmogirl. She was also featured in a television ad for the cosmetics giant Ponds. She is post production on a film called Beach Spike where she protrays Natalie.

IMTA Model Alum Sean Harju in German GQ

Check out the gorgeous and versatile Sean Harju in German GQ! Sean looks stunning modeling different looks from several famous designers. Sean competed at IMTA Los Angeles in 2006 and has modeled for top designers ever since. He has walked the runway in many top fashion shows both here and abroad. Sean's stunning and unique looks were first discovered when he walked the runway at IMTA.

Josh Duhamel is Back on All My Children!

Josh Duhamel will return to wrap up his storyline in the legendary soap opera All My Children. According to People.com, "Josh Duhamel will return to his soapy roots for a cameo on All My Children, the ABC daytime drama that helped launch his career. Before the show ends for good in September, the Transformers: Dark of the Moon actor has agreed to reprise his role of con man Leo du Pres – who was presumed dead in a waterfall accident, although his body was never found. IMTA's Ashley Greene Wins at 2011 MTV Movie Awards!

IMTA alum Ashley Greene's hit movie Twilight released the official trailer for the anxiously awaited Breading Dawn - Part 1 during the 2011 MTV Movie Awards! Ashley, along with the entire Twilight cast, won numerous awards at the 2011 MTV Movie Awards ceremony for Best Kiss, Best Fight, and Best Movie! Ashley tweeted,

"Just landed and heard the great news! Twilight fans are undoubtedly the most loyal incredible fans! We love you guys!!! Thanks for the love!"

Ashley competed at IMTA in 2004 and has been cast in numerous roles since IMTA, including Summer's Blood, Shrink, Otis and Radio Free Albemuth. Ashley is currently working on many new films including Butter, LOL, A Warrior's Heart, The Apparition and The Boom Boom Room.

Tiffany Thornton in So Random!

Tiffany Thornton stars in Disney's newest sitcom, So Random premiering June 5th! So Random will continue the story line of the Disney show Sonny with a Chance, featuring musical and comedic sketches. Tiffany will reprises her role as Tawni Hart in the exciting new show.

Tiffany competed at IMTA in 2003 where she met her manager and began acting in television shows such as Quintuplets, 8 Simple Rules, American Dreams, The O.C., Desperate Housewives, and Jericho. Tiffany has also appeared on the Disney shows That's So Raven, Wizards of Waverly Place, Hannah Montana and the Disney movie Hatching Pete!
